The Trakka Van comes fitted out with a 80 litre Indel Refrigerator. Ours packed it in after 5 months of our trip, which was more than 10 years after it had been installed. Not a bad run for a fridge, so we were not too unhappy about it.

New Waeco Fridge

What was unfortunate was that it was very hard to find a replacement fridge, as it needed to fit into the space from the old one. In the end we bought a bigger fridge, 85 litre by Waeco, which needed the space to be expanded before it would fit.

For us we now had a larger and more efficient fridge. After we fitted a new and bigger house battery, we now had the capacity to go for up to a week without having to plug in at a caravan park.
