We took Olive to storytime at the Karama library. She was more interested in pulling books off the shelf than the book readings. On the way to do some shopping we stopped at Jingili Water Park and playground to have some lunch. We finally got to pick up the van from the repairers in the afternoon - and it's all fixed. Clare went to the Physio again to get more work on her neck, and is now starting a fitness campaign to strengthen it up. The RACV allowed us to stay another two nights in a city hotel as they had already paid for the accommodation. (This is a different place to the last 3 nights, as accommodation in Darwin is hard to come by at the moment). However when we went to check-in there was no booking for us. We did not bother making a big deal of it, and went to stay with our friend Steve who lives along the Nightcliff foreshore. The view from his place overlooking the ocean is one of the best in Darwin, so it was not such a bad option.
