Today is Territory Day. First up we inspected our property in Millner. We noted a few things that need to be done. We took a drive into town, to walk around and reminisce. We enjoyed lunch on the Esplanade overlooking the harbour, and fed some birds for entertainment for Olive. In the evening we picked up Anjea, a friend of Clare's who she used to work with in Melbourne, and went to the Fireworks display that is held at Mindil Beach markets. The NT is one of the few places in Australia that still have fireworks night (the ACT also have it). It was not as chaotic as the last time we were here, and the show was quite impressive. We declined getting our own fireworks mostly due to the cost, but also because we are now conservative and protective parents. Others had different ideas with crackers going off till all hours of the night.
