Aldinga Beach: Antique Roadshow

After an unusually slow packup we travelled only around the corner to the town centre of Strathalbyn. There are numerous old buildings, with the highlight being the old St Andrews Church. There are also antique shops in every second historic building. After a stroll around town, we had lunch in the lovely Memorial Gardens in the town centre. From here we drove to the south coast of Adelaide, Aldinga Beach, where the Tour Down Under Stage 5 will start tomorrow. The route here took us through the picturesque countryside of McLaren Vale wine region, but again we did not stop for a taste. The caravan park has a nice pool and playground, where we spent the rest of the afternoon.
