Stanwell Park: Swedish Movie Hall

It rained on and off all day today – it’s days like this when we are glad we are staying in a house. During one break in the showers we checked out the two art galleries in Stanwell Park, a very short walk away, as is everything in this town. In the afternoon we went for a walk across the relatively new spectacular Sea Cliff Bridge, and continued to the Scarborough Hotel for a drink. After the long walk in bare feet, Rachel learnt a lesson about liquor licensing laws and had to sit outside. In the evening we left Olive at home asleep with Rachel and Jacob, and saw a great movie at Stanwell Park Hall – the Swedish ‘As it is in Heaven’. We had to run home in the rain; fortunately it was not very far.
