We took our van into a repair place in Townsville, and spent most of the morning sorting out what we are going to. We have booked in the van for installation of a new fridge next Tuesday, which is five days time. It is an expensive exercise as the there is no replacement fridge that fits the current space, so some modification to the van is required. We decided to drive south for a couple of days while we wait. We are at a nice relaxing spot at Alligator Creek Campground in the Bowling Green Bay National Park, which will do us nicely. There is a school group of year 2’s also camped here, to Olive’s delight. There are plenty of animals around too. There are numerous wallabies, and Clare saw a Beetong while on a walk. The Brush Turkeys are more annoying than usual – they’re always trying to get into our food and rubbish.
