Murray Falls: Avoiding an Incident

We drove from Lucinda back through Ingham, towards Wallaman Falls, however we soon came across a sign indicating that the Falls were closed, apparently due to an 'incident'! Police involed and all, so closed for more than a week. We will have to go there on our way back down the coast. We headed back into Inhgam for lunch (some chicken perhaps) while we decided on where we should go next instead. We decided on another falls - Murray Falls north of Cardwell. This is a tranquil spot, with the campsites dispersed amongst a large area of tall trees, with a very short walk to the river and an excellent large cascading waterfall.
