We went on an outing today to the Glasshouse Mountains region. Our first stop was at Montville, a small tourist town up in the hills, as the name suggests. We then went to the larger but similar nearby town of Maleny, where we had lunch in park. From here we drove back through the glasshouse mountains, a colection of mountain peaks that reminded Captain Cook of the glass making furnaces from his home town. We drove up to a lookout with views of all the interesting shaped peaks, then made a coffee before a short walk to another lookout.
