Epping, Melbourne: Werribee Park Anniversary

It is our 5th year wedding anniversary today. To celebrate, we became tourists again, and visited the historic Werribee Park and Mansion. After a BBQ lunch and a quick stroll through the huge rose garden, we explored the many opulent rooms of the mansion. In the gardens we saw the grotto, Sculpture walk, and farm buildings. On the way back we dropped off Olive at Leanne’s – she is having her first night away from us. We took advantage of the time to ourselves and went out to dinner followed by a movie (aptly 'Australia'). We couldn’t find the South American restaurant we had booked, so after walking up and down the same strip of Lygon Street we went to a very authentic and spicy Malaysian place instead.
