Bendigo: Off we go

The first day of our journey for our Australian adventure. It is also Olive’s 13th month birthday.

We still had lots of things to organise before we headed off, one being the van temperature and cooling system which we were alerted to yesterday and thought we had better get it checked out prior to departure. Packed and finally ready to go we left the Epping house at about 1 pm. As we drove out of the driveway we were still deciding which direction to head. One of our daily aims is to set up camp by 4 pm, so we were limited with how far we could travel today. We found a beautiful spot in a State Park just outside Bendigo, right next to a little lake with no one else around.
