Leaving Edith falls we needed to recharge our batteries (literally) and restock our grocery supplies. Only a short drive north was Pine Creek, a small old gold mining town, now at the tourist crossroads leading into Kakadu. We found a small grassy caravan park with friendly neighbours and hung out here all afternoon. We took a short stroll down the main street, passed a few historic buildings and visited a small museum in the old railway station.
