On our way to Mildura we passed through a sleepy little town called Wood Wood, which considering our name we had to stop for a photo.
On arriving in Mildura, we walked along the riverside, looking across to NSW. There was an old Homestead to visit and Rio Vista house and museum.
Plentiful fruit stalls line the roads since we are in fruit growing country. We bought some fantastic sultanas by the roadside. Found a beautiful free camp beside a billabong just outside Mildura. It suited us perfectly and was a really lovely still evening.
