Byron Bay: Market to Market

October 26th, 2008 : byron-bay-market-to-market

Sancastle at ByronWe enjoyed a cooked breakfast and took our time leaving the comfortable rest stop. Our first stop today was Brunswick Heads for a quick swim and play in the sand. It is a lovely little town, and the protected beach was perfect for little kids.

We drove back inland through Mullumbimby, then to visit the large quality Bangalow markets. This great market had lots of interesting things for sale, though all we bought were some nectarines, lemon myrtle spice, and some lunch.

We reached the very popular tourist destination of Byron Bay by mid afternoon, and checked into a camping ground by the beach. We went for a beach swim, saving our exploration of the town till tomorrow.
