We stayed at Byron Bay (or just Byron as the locals call it) all day today. We took turns walking Olive along the beachfront to the town centre, giving the other some time to themselves. Byron Bay brings us back memories of South East Asia. It is probably the combination of the large number of backpackers, the warm weather and the shops selling cheaply made clothing. There are however, some quality shops and trendy places to eat here. The day has been very windy but Clare still managed to fit in a swim and a walk along the beach. Dinner was in the best camp kitchen (location wise) we have come across – a large enclosed area overlooking Clarkes Beach.
