We left Woomera early getting back onto the Stuart Highway to continue our journey north. There is not much to see from here to our next destination, the old opal mining town of Coober Pedy, just miles and miles of flat desolate eagle eating roadkill landscape. We shared the 400km drive, with a lunch of soup at a roadside rest stop. One of the benefits of having the campervan is that you can stop and heat up food or have a hot cuppa at any time. At Coober Pedy we checked out an underground bar before getting an above ground super large pizza.
