Epping, Melbourne: Hanging Rock Races

Happy New Year everyone. We wish you all the best for the new year. One of our new year’s resolutions is to travel more, which will not be too hard to achieve. After much deliberation, and checking of the forecast, we decided to head out to the traditional Hanging Rock Race meeting with our friend Lois, held of course at Hanging Rock, famous for the book and movie about a picnic there. It was a great country racetrack, it even had Kangaroos bounding down the front straight. We saved our money and didn’t have a bet - without our trusty insider, Richo of the Winning Post, we are unlikely to be lucky! Olive loves to watch the horses run. We climbed the rock to the peak, and thankfully we all came back down again.
