Epping, Melbourne: Returning Home

It rained all night, and in the morning did not look like letting up. So we packed up the van, which is a little difficult when raining, and headed off early on our long trek to Melbourne. We only stopped briefly for a snack, arriving in Epping just after lunchtime. We will be staying at Rob’s parents’ house for the next few weeks. It was great to see Granny and Grandpa again, to see how their garden has grown, and great to be in a house as it continued to rain all day. This would have to be the wettest day we have had for our entire trip, and we are glad we were not cooped up in our van all day. Oh the Melbourne weather, some things just do not change!
