We took a walk into dusty old Tennant Creek to check it out. It is quite a small town and only a short walk or drive to get to anywhere in town. We needed to deposit one of Rob's cheques at the bank - what a challenge for them as they don't see many US dollar cheques here, and probably mostly hand out money to the local indigenous…
We then sucked back a free beer at the pub. Olive enjoyed the playground in the beer garden - a sign of young parents owning the pub. The sandpit kept Olive happy for ages playing with Cooper and Astro (their dog). Olive is getting very comfortable around animals - she has gone from waving from a distance to now chasing around the dog to give it a pat in the hope to get a brush of the fluffy tail.
