Tennant Creek: Dam Good

We are taking it easy while we have the luxury of a house to stay in. We spent the morning cleaning up the house and removing layers of red dirt from the van from the last few weeks. In the afternoon we rode our bikes out to Mary Ann Dam, an oasis in the desert, a pleasant 7 km ride north of town along a sealed path. Back at Tennant Creek we enjoyed a free feed at Anna and Ryan's restaurant at the TC Hotel. The food was great and anyone coming through Tennant Creek should drop in (though there isn't a lot of choice in town).
