Day 17: Saturday, 14th July

Lunch was back to the traditional Aussie way!! We enjoyed a Kue rustic baguette with ham, cheese and avocado. A little home sick for Aussie food at the moment…

We got ketut to cook something just for the kids as we were going out. So they had chicken sate again, and the salad too.

We went for dinner at the Melting Wok again, but this time with our (local) friend Jo. Clare ordered the same dish as Rob did last time curry soup with noodles and tuna

while Rob had the special fried chicken with a spicy choko salad. The chicken piece was crispy fried and covered with some very fine deep fried (what could have been) grated coconut. The choko salad had julienned choko (which is a bit like cucumber or raw paypaya) mixed with some finely diced tomato with an amazing spicy dressing.
