Lake St Clair: Hunting Wines

There are so many wineries around the Hunter Valley it is hard to know where to begin. We only sampled a small number from the abundance of vineyards. We also visited some galleries, chocolate shops, a brewery and cheese tasting – this region has it all! We enjoyed lunch at a restaurant overlooking fields of vines. The perfect place to stay was not far away - Lake St Clair next to Mt Olive. This is a huge man made lake, with a small basic campsite on the bank. Unfortunately it rained again, all afternoon and all night – it just won’t stop.
