Henrietta Creek: Big Bugs

Today was spent cleaning up and sorting out the van, which was a well suited job in the rain. Rob fitted in a little work too, and Olive played in the mud. There are lots of birds and unusual bugs flying around this park. In fact yesterday after our dip in the creek, we found a tick on Olive’s neck. We were not sure about the correct removal technique, but with some metho and tweezers Clare was able to remove it promptly. We went for another swim/wash in the creek today, and had a good check for any creatures afterwards.
