We hurried a little to get to the first cave tour of the day, yet we were told that we were too early – we had forgotten to put our clocks back half an hour to South Australia time. You would have thought we had travelled enough to be wary of that. So when does daylight savings finish? We had time for a self-guided walk though the Wet Cave, followed by the first tour though the pretty Alexandra Cave. Rob did a tour of Victoria Cave and fossils next, while Clare took Olive through the display of stuffed extinct animals. After lunch the roles were reversed while Clare went out to Victoria Cave. We are not sure if we have been depriving Olive of friends, or she is just a highly sociable toddler, as she continues to chase other children around calling “kids, kids…”!! It was a wonderful hot day, with summer really upon us, and we particularly enjoy the balmy evenings.
