Mt Beauty: Two Seasons in a Day

As we prepared breakfast, we realised we had left our bowls at the camp site in Gundagai yesterday. We can add that to the list of other things we have left behind. It rained all morning, so our plans for a bike ride had to be postponed. Luckily there was a large TV room which we made good use of. The rain cleared later in the morning, and the afternoon turned out to be sunny and hot. Reminding us that we are back in Victoria, where there may be more than one season in a day. The AFL news in the paper also made us realise!! We shopped in the small town for new bowls, enjoyed a lunch out, then walked around the lake (or pondage as they call it) that is in the centre of town. The rest of the arvo we spent enjoying the serenity of our campsite, which is very beautiful. This place gets packed in wintertime, full of people heading to the ski fields, but in summertime it is very nce and there should be more.
