Evans Head: The End of the Rainbow

October 30th, 2008

Rainbow GalleryWe started the day with a coffee at the funky Rainbow Café, which also had a great little sandpit out the back for Olive. Olive made friends with a little girl while we made friends with her parents. We visited the Rainbow Candle Factory, saw how candles are made and bought a few ourselves. We have really enjoyed our short time in Nimbin, it is very relaxing, and we found everyone very friendly. We took the scenic route back to Lismore, winding through the countryside and passing through a small town called The Channon. At Lismore we visited a medical centre so Olive could get her chicken pox vaccination, which did not phase her at all. At Alstonville we bought a NSW National Parks Pass to give us free entry to all the parks we are going to visit as we travel down the coast. We arrived back on the coast at Evans Head, and had just enough time to walk to town and along the river. We will explore more of the town tomorrow

Glad you liked Nimbin-one of my favorite lil' towns. Why can't we all get along?
