We had a full shore excursion day exploring Hobart. It was a beautiful sunny day (except for atop Mt Wellington / kunanyi). Lunch in the beer garden at Cascade brewery was the highlight. Also hiked to Myrtle Gully Falls, and checked out Mawson's Hut. Unfortunately MONA was closed this day.

We strolled through its streets, exploring the magnificent temples, picking up some last-minute souvenirs, and gearing up for the hustle and bustle of Chennai.

Pondicherry was a great place to spend Christmas. There was lots of action in the evenings around the old colonial French Quarter, good beaches and delicious bakeries.
